Case Study

Fleetwood Town FC

Project Objectives

To create a watertight outdoor area of 180m2 that would allow customers to be served from the restaurant, and to provide a space for the players to break for lunch when training. A further project objective was for the solution to not be fixed to the main building.

Solution and Deliverables

We installed a 30m x 6m Gibus Med Viva Pavilion with integrated LED spotlights, Gibus 13QU drop-down screens, Gibus Glisse glass sliding doors, and Burda Term IP67 ultra low glare 2kw outdoor heaters.

We chose the Gibus Med Viva Pavilion because its integrated gutters and Opatex covers are built to withstand the daily weather challenges the Fylde Coast is subject to, whilst simultaneously creating an elegant and multi-functional outdoor area.

The system has had a hugely positive impact for the customer, giving them the flexibility to retract the roof on nice days and enjoy the weather, and then close the roof on bleak days and use the heating and lighting systems to create an ambient restaurant.

Project Timeframe

The project was manufactured, delivered and installed within 6 weeks of ordering.
