Project Objectives

To provide a covered outdoor dining area at the front of their existing tearoom, complete with signage to make it more visible from the road.

Solution and Deliverables

We chose the Markilux 1600 awning with remote control operated valance and vibrabox wind sensor. Because of the width and projection required to cover the space, we combined these with two custom spreader brackets to support this an extremely strong semi-cassette awning.

The awning has given the tearoom a greater visual presence from the roadside, and provides a sheltered outdoor area for customers to enjoy their lunch.

Project Timeframe

The project was manufactured, delivered and installed within 3 weeks of ordering.
