Project Objectives

Duckworth Outdoor Solutions were tasked with creating two year-round, all-weather outdoor areas at the front of this Lytham restaurant without obstructing the front door, which is a listed part of the historical building.

Solution and Deliverables

We supplied two symmetrical Gibus Med Viva Pavilion systems that framed the entrance to the restaurant. These were enhanced with four Gibus 11QU drop-down screens for use in the colder months, as well as integrated LED spotlighting and twelve Burda Term IP67 ultra low glare 2kw outdoor heaters.

We chose the Gibus Med Viva Pavilion because its integrated gutters and Opatex covers offer a durable solution to the interchangeable and often extreme weather conditions on the Fylde Coast. With the addition of the dimmable LED integrated spotlights and outdoor heating systems, Spago can host customers in an ambient outdoor dining area all year round.

This bespoke commercial outdoor awning solution has enabled the business to increase turnover by 33%, and establish itself as on of the most desirable places to eat in Lytham.
