Project Objectives

Duckworth Outdoor Solutions were commissioned to provide a covered dining area with heating and lighting that can be used all year round.

Solution and Deliverables

We supplied and installed a Gibus Med Viva terrace system with integrated LED outdoor spotlighting. We combined this with bi-folding doors to either side of the awning, and Verano glass sliding windbreaks to the front of the area.

We chose this solution due to the yearround cover the Gibus Med Viva provides and its versatility in terms of add-on items. It allowed us to integrate the bi-fold doors and retractable glass screens, giving the client an outdoor dining area with all the comforts of an indoor space.

The new outdoor area has doubled the capacity of the restaurant for a lot less than the cost of building an extension, giving the restaurant a new dining experience to offer customers, and the capability to have private functions separated from the main restaurant.

Project Timeframe

The project was manufactured, delivered and installed within 6 weeks of ordering.
